About prong collars
Prong collars can save your dog’s life. Many, if not most of us cannot compete with a dog’s pull strength which can make walks and outside ventures difficult and challenging. Even the best trained dogs may bolt when a squirrel, rabbit, cat or even another dog crosses our path.
Prong collars give gentle leverage rather than yanking and cranking the dog’s neck with a regular collar. Prong collars were designed with a dog’s safety in mind. Pressure is evenly distributed around the dog’s neck, so it’s impossible to cut off a dog’s air supply. Prong collars were developed to prevent injury to the dog’s trachea and larynx.
NEVER leave prong collars on an unattended dog or when not in training. NEVER use a prong collar for discipline. BullieShrink Designs recommends positive reinforcement training methods only.
